* Lake would have been closed in early June instead of August this year for repairs to the dam.
* The flood of June 2010 would have kept the lake closed for many more months without the coordination and support of PLDA for the clean up work.
* Phosphorus in lake would not be addressed by the city of New Braunfels.
* A significant amount of trash would still be in the lake.
